As from the year 2019, Beating Hearts Malta will be allocating € 2400.00 per year towards bursaries. The aim of this initiative is to assist healthcare professionals based at Mater Dei Hospital to attend local and international courses, conferences and meetings directly related to adult and pediatric cardiology. This will be done by means of 4 annual bursaries of Euro 600 each.
These bursaries are being made available to doctors, nurses, radiographers and ECG/Echo technicians.
Applications are to be submitted to BHM between 1st January and 30th September for educational activities taking place during the same year. All applications will be reviewed by a dedicated sub-committee within BHM. The 4 successful applicants will be announced officially during the Maltese Cardiac Society Conference held in October of the same year.
